Background on Woman of the Year

Each year, WHCE honors a woman whose leadership and contributions to the health care field are exceptional and deserving of recognition. Our 2024 Woman of the Year is selected from a competitive slate of nominations and will be celebrated at our Woman of the Year event. At this event, WHCE will also announce scholarships for young women in the Bay Area who have demonstrated commitment to careers in health care and to serving their communities. In 2024, we will also recognize 2 additional women leaders who have advanced innovation and diversity in healthcare.
